With 232 professors in the top 1% of scientists and 54 named in the "Highly Cited Researchers 2025”, HKU ranks 13th globally for research influence. In the 2023/2024 academic year, our scholars published 6,698 research works and received 199 awards. Since 1998, we have been granted 1,430 patents, showcasing our strong commitment to innovation.
