Suppose you are an excellent student from an EU/EEA or non-EU/EEA country planning to pursue a graduate program (MSc) at the University of Twente.

In that case, you may be eligible for University Twente Scholarships (UTS). To qualify for these masters scholarships for international students, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Apply for a UT scholarship separately from your course entry application to the University of Twente.
  • Obtain an admission letter from the university, regardless of funding.
  • Be admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master programs that start in September 2023/2024. It may take up to eight weeks to receive results after completing your application.
  • Have a student number.
  • Not have graduated from a UT graduate program.

There are no restrictions on the field of study. Still, applicants must explain how participating in the program will enhance their leadership potential within their chosen field, regardless of their major.

Applicants must have excellent English language skills to be eligible for teaching, as all instruction will be in English.

If English is not their native language, they must provide official test scores from an approved English proficiency exam.

Acceptable exams include the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) with a minimum score of 100.

If you went to a college or university where English was the language of instruction for at least two years, you do not need to meet this requirement.

Additionally, if you have a Master’s degree or higher and have studied English for at least two years, this requirement is also waived.

 

7. UWE Chancellor’s Scholarships for International Students

The University of the West of England in Bristol provides international students with over £100,000 in scholarships yearly.
